In order to improve the teaching quality, promote the development of education, research practice has never stopped about teaching methods, the teaching method of the research mainly includes five aspects: specific teaching method research; classification research of teaching method, the teaching method of experimental research, reformation of teaching method and teaching method of historical research. In these studies, however, for the teaching method of historical research is relatively little. This paper is mainly aimed at to the end of the cultural revolution after the founding of this historical period investigates the historical evolution of teaching methods. This period of history has been divided into two historical stages, namely the new-democratic period and independent exploration period, this paper mainly to various historical stages of typical teaching method combing analysis, and to summarise the characteristics of the teaching methods in different stages of the development. First part of this article is divided into four chapters, the first chapter, mainly elaborated from five aspects: the selected topic reason, the research value, research review, concept definition, research ideas and research methods. This paper mainly uses the three research methods: literature method, historical method and the method of comparative study. The second chapter to the new-democratic period teaching method mainly from three aspects: the inheritance and innovation of the old liberated areas education teaching method, the Soviet union, the teaching method of transplant and localization and criticism of the old teaching methods in the education, the third chapter divisions of historical events marks inspects the evolution of the teaching methods, teaching methods, education adjustment under the great leap forward period of teaching method and the teaching methods of cultural revolution three historical stages.By the inspection of the evolution of the teaching methods in the historical period from the founded of new China to the cultural revolution,we found that different historical stages of the development of teaching methods have different characteristics, integrity, innovative teaching methods with speed new-democratic period, class nature and the characteristic of the visual, and independent exploration period of the socialistroad of development of teaching methods to research the teaching method of experimental research as the leading factor, follow the principle of teaching combined with productive labor, and the focus from the teacher’s teaching to students’ characteristics of learning transfer. Starting from the whole, to the end of the cultural revolution after the founding of this historical period the evolution of the teaching method has the characteristics of three aspects: from imitation to independent, from "superstition" blindness toward science; The development of the teaching method has a strong political color; literacy teaching method through the characteristics of the development of teaching methods; and under the guide of the thought of Mao Zedong on education, carrying out heuristic teaching principle. For the evolution of teaching method of this period in history, it helps us to know the development of this period of teaching methods in history. History is any guide. What is hoped is to provide help to the development of the teaching method in our country in the future.
