Perceived organizational support (POS) is the degree to whichemployees believe that their organization values their contributions and cares abouttheir well-being. Higher POS can make people have a positive emotional experience,improve the individual’s willingness to teach, and reduce turnover behavioreffectively. Teaching willingness is a kind of free will to teaching for teachers.Teachers who have a higher teaching willingness are not only willing to teach butalso loving to teach.This study takes the author’s life experience as background, from the“special-post teachers’ POS and teaching willingness” point of view, surveysnearly200special-post teachers in D County, Henan Province, aims to explore thepresent situations of special-post teachers’ POS and teaching willingness and therelated factors. Then it proposes some effective measures to promote the enthusiasmof the teachers and stabilize the whole team. The research combines literature study,questionnaires and interviews, and then uses SPSS software to analyze collecteddata.The results show that the overall level of POS of special-post teachers in thiscounty is low, the county’s grant and subsidy system is imperfect, the managementand appraisal system is inadequate, and there is also ignorance on the humanisticconcern. On the part of teaching willingness, firstly, the professional identity of maleteachers is low; secondly, the special-post teachers’ professional emotion needs to bestrengthened; in addition, the special-post teachers’ self-improvement concept isrelatively weak. The improvement of POS and teaching willingness of special-postteachers is significant for education in rural areas, which needs efforts from government, as well as schools and teachers. Government departments shouldenforce policies strictly relating to special-post teachers; the schools should givespecial-post teachers a relaxed working environment, and strengthen themanagement of special-post teachers and humanistic care, so that every teacher canfeel the supports from the organization; Finally, schools should strengthen theprofessional identity of the male special-post teachers, improve teachers’professional emotion and self-improvement consciousness, so that the special-postteachers can make due contribution for rural education.
