Oral English is a very important part of the English teaching, however, the current oral English teaching is teacher-centered and teaching form is single so that it is difficult to stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm and the teaching effect is not obvious. When the information technology effectively integrated into English teaching, the way of teaching is changed and teaching efficiency is improved. This paper attempts to train the students’ oral English in the information technology environment. Through the way of questionnaire and oral test, this paper try to study whether or not the information technology can improve the students’ interest in learning English and oral English ability.First of all, through consulting a large number of literature, this paper collects and analyses the research about the application of information technology in English teaching both in China and abroad, in addition, information instructional design has carried on the related concepts; Second, the teaching aim, the learning environment, the learners, the teaching content and the network platform is analyzed; Then, a total of 106 students are selected as the research object, teachers use different teaching methods in experimental classes and contrast classes for one semester teaching experiment; Finally, through the questionnaire and oral test data analysis, data statistical results show that the oral English teaching under the information technology support can improve students’ interest in learning and oral English skills.
