The Ideological And Political Education Study On Colleges And Universities Under The New Media Environment

With the rapid development of information technology, the new media has being known by more and more people. The development of the new media technologies is gradually being mature because of the new feature which the traditional media does not have. Since the appearance of the new media, especially since 1990’s, it has been valued not only by the communications field but also other fields of the society. For example, in the education field, more and more universities start to pay attention to the new media application and development especially to the ideological and political education. Due to the mass need to the information, university students have become the sort of people who often use the new media. As to its reason, I think university students have a strong desire to get information they need from the new media which is main the Internet. They are more willing to communicate with others by using all kinds of new media. In this case, more and more new media form are showing around the study and life time of the university students. It has a huge influence to them. So, under this circumstance, exploring new ways of ideological and political education and the effectiveness of these ways under the new media environment have become very important and necessary tasks.Admittedly,the new media provides a variety of information channels and a vast resource platform,and a new opportunity for the ideological and political education.However,more worthy to be concerned is that some negative issues in the ideological and political education in the new media environment has gradually produced.Some negative information mixed in the mass information,the lack of media literacy happened in the educator and the students and the new media regulatory system is not perfect.All the factors make the effective exploration of ideological and political education in the new environment become an urgent topic of the times.In this paper,follow the basic principles of scientific,systematic,practical and use the literature method,discipline method and comprehensive method to analyse the ideological and political education in the new media environment.This thesis has four parts including the introduction,concept,he current situation of university’s ideological and political education under the environment of the new media and the countermeasures.Based on the concept of new media,the concept of ideological and political education theory and research,analyse the situation of college ideological and political in the new media environment and the reason.Then make the countermeasures from society,school,educators and the student.
