Entering the 21 st century, along with the progress of the times and technology constantly updated, social and economic strength of the rising and modern education reform efforts continue to increase, which will to future education brought new, more stringent requirements and challenges, it will give the future of education development provides a lot of space. The quality of the society demands the improvement of the times and the education reform.. In the 21 st century quality education already go to school education, so the school sports must also unity of the development and the demand of the times and the education, so as to education for the school sports cultivate has good physical and psychological quality and the corresponding professional knowledge and skills, sound personality and quality of excellent modern school sports talents. This also makes the reform of basic education physical education curriculum is imperative, the core issue of education is how to improve the quality of education, and the knowledge structure of teachers is the key to improve the quality of education.. The needs of the development of the times and society, physical education in our country major reform must be carried out, and the rational allocation of rural PE teachers knowledge structure is the focus of the reform,which requires the knowledge structure of teachers to put forward more strict norms.Using literature data method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and other research methods, in Anhui Province village of knowledge structure of physical education teachers as the research object, based on the summary of the previous experience, the optimization of rural teachers’ knowledge structure is put forward under the background of new era, and in-depth investigation and combined with expert opinion in rural areas of Anhui Province of knowledge structure of physical education teachers present situation analysis, draws the following conclusion initially:(1) in this paper, through the way of analysis and Study on rural knowledge structure of physical education teachers should include four parts: basic common sense knowledge, the knowledge of physical education, sports knowledge education and the knowledge of modern educational technology.(2) strengthen the physical education teachers in rural Anhui Province ordinary basic knowledge of learning, the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of perfect knowledge, and can improve the overall quality of rural PE teachers, sports teachers in rural areas should also pay attention to the cultivation of scientific research ability and update the traditional sports teaching idea, set up the concept of contemporary sports teaching.(3) Anhui province colleges and Universities Sports Institute(Department) should be according to the country of the physical education teachers teaching needs, break through the traditional PE teaching syllabus, sports system, consider rural school facilities and the characteristics of the students in the reasonable training for rural teachers in teaching materials, in order to improve the future of Anhui Province countryside sports teachers of science and culture professional intelligence quality.
