(3) The time of playing electronic games significantly increased during the holidays. The top two are puzzle games, leisure game and the last two are sports games and chess games.(4) In type of selecting games, it has significant difference in terms of gender. The boys like puzzle games, strategy games, adventure games, shooting games, sports games, match games, competitive games more, and girls like role-playing games and music games.(5) Most children play electronic games alone. The intervention in time of playing is more than intervention in types and intervention in content.In the basis quantitative, case of children playing electronic game is studied in-depth.It draws the following conclusion:(1) Children are immersed in playing electronic games.(2) The intervention on children’s behavior of playing electronic games from parents is different in different way of family up-bringing.(3) Three children from different way of family up-bringing are influenced differently by electronic games. Children from family of positive type benefits most. Children from family of pressure type benefit more. Children from family of spoil type benefited least.In the analysis of the survey data and in the study of three cases, there are three issues worthy of being discussed and analyzed:(1) The phenomenon of younger age playing electronic games. The obvious trend of younger age and reasons of it are analyzed. The development of science and technology is the base of the phenomenon of younger age; Behavior of parents playing electronic game has a direct impact on children’s behavior of electronic game;Children need electronic games early in process of development.(2) Sex propriety for children choosing electronic game types. The reason for gender differences in choosing in electronic game types and androgyny of children’s choosing type of electronic games are analyzed(3) Intervention of parents. Firstly,this paper summarizes and analyzes the problems that parents meet in the process of intervention of electronic games.It is known that parents are lack of intervention,way of intervention is incorrect,and time intervention is more than type and content of intervention. Then,it is discussed that the relationship between intervention of parents and parenting styles. Democratic family parents focus on electronic game content intervention, and electronic game is a kind of parent-child interactive activities; Autocratic parents pay attention to time and type intervention,and electronic game is one kind of tools in improving children’s cognitive level;Laissez faire parents pay no attention to time, type and content intervention.and electronic game is just a friend for children when they are alone.Through analysis and discussion, electronic games also bring some negative effects to children. How to reduce negative influence of playing video games on children’s growth is an urgent question.This article gives some suggestions to parents, the kindergarten, the society. |
