Since "learning geography that is useful for life " has been put forward in "Geography Curriculum Standards", the development of life geography course resources become an important trend of geography curriculum resource development and utilization, and also become the center of debates. Geography, as a subject which studies the geographical environment and the relationship between human activities and geographical environment, is closely related with people’s life. The development of the life geography course resources makes geography course be more practical. It can effectively improve students’ learning initiatives and initiative, and help students to set up the idea of sustainable development.This paper chooses seven high schools as examples including No. 19 middle school of Nanchang, the High School Attached to the Hunan Normal University,Nanchang Experimental High School, No.1 and No.2 high school of Jinxian, and Wenzhen High School. Because of the difference among respondents, two different questionnaires are designed for geography teachers and students. From the results of questionnaires, some problems existing among teachers have been found.:(1) The teacher of curriculum resources concept model and development of subject consciousness fuzzy;(2) The teacher of life curriculum resources development mostly is tasted, not form a systematic and universal;(3)Life on the part of developed curriculum resources use efficiency is low;(4)The life conditional geography curriculum resource waste;(5)Teacher: narrow scope of the life curriculum resources development and utilization.Constraints are:(1)The pressure of examination evaluation mechanism;(2)The lack of professional training curriculum resources;(3)the teacher individual limitations.Students’ problems are:(1)The students lack the subjective consciousness of the development of curriculum resources;(2)The students’ ability to develop curriculum resources.Constraints:(1)The students lack a certain life in geography classroom teaching experience;(2)The students lack of curriculum resources development inertia and ability.Based on the questionnaire survey result and combining the education teaching practice, the author summarizes the development strategy of three aspects:(1) Develop the students are familiar with and interested in life curriculum resources;(2) Optimization of curriculum resourcesdevelopment process;(3)Use a variety of curriculum resources development means, to ensure that the quality of the course resources development.Finally, based on the geographic for high schools are compulsory 2 third chapter of the first quarter the location choice agriculture empirically life curriculum resources development as an example, on the part of knowledge points and their corresponding generalizes the optional course resources, through the case study,discusses the teachers and students as the main body of curriculum resources development interactive process, and put forward the perfect life curriculum resources development and safeguard measures.
