In today’s society, the growing popularity of the Internet and result in a variety of new media application platform, the students with the ability to accept new things quickly become the mainstream network new media user group. The new media has strong impact to the school, especially to the relationship between teachers and students, but the current research on the relationship between teachers and students under the new media environment is insufficient seriously. Thus, in the era of new media for the development of basic education teacher-student relationship to improve the relationship between teachers and students, teachers and students to promote the basic theory of self perfection and development, the reform of classroom teaching and improve the quality of education has a profound meaning in-depth study.Through research interviews, this paper analyzes the advantages of the relationship between teachers and students in the new media era:1. In the emotional attitude, teachers and students satisfaction is gradually rising.4.In the communicative behavior, the influence of both teachers and students gradually strengthened. In the same time, also exposed a series of problems existed in the relationship between teachers and students in the new media era:1. New media does not give full play in teacher-student communication.2. The content of teachers and students through new media communication is to be widened.3.There are some defects in the process of new media communication.Finally, according to the significant advantage of teacher-student relationship in the new media era and the existing problems, this study puts forward the optimization strategy, constructing the new media era harmonious relationship between teacher and students.
