The Applying Study Of Illustrations In Primary School Mathematics Textbooks

At the beginning of2012, the new revised curriculum standard began to enact across the country. It brought teachers new teaching ideas and thoughts, in the meantime, it improved the pace of the teaching reform. In order to imply the basic principle and requirements of the new curriculum standard, the Ministry of Education deployed the revision of textbook in the stage of compulsory education. Since the new term in autumn of2013,the new revised textbook of PEP edition have been employed. During the internship period, i started to study new textbooks, and found that there were many revised details, which worth rereading. Among all the variation, the present of the topic maps is the most outstanding one. According to the applying research of topic maps in the primary school textbooks, the thesis summarizes the features and effects of topic maps. In the meantime, it offers corresponding teaching advices.First of all, i introduces the background and significance of the research. Besides, it includes the purpose and values of the thesis, methods and strategies of the research, which can be the effective preparing for follow-up survey. Secondly, i focus on the collection and arrangement of both domestic and foreign relative documents. At the same time, it helps clarify the confusing concepts in the research. The next part points at the intensive analysis of topic maps based on the classification of it. Through the data statistics, the thesis contrast the present textbooks with the past ones,in order to highlight the function of topic maps. Fourthly, the thesis presents some teaching suggestions aiming at deficiencies of the topic maps’ applying. Last but not least, reviewing the whole research give us meaningful reflections on teaching methods, which can be used by follow-up studies.
