Our life and work are inseparable from the family, different family patterns willcause different effects. A series of physical, psychological reaction which come fromwork stress are cannot be ignored. Happiness is one’s overall feeling of the environment.Family pattern, work stress and happiness are closely related. Migrant workers, thespecial group, emerging with the rapid development and the massive building of the city.A large number of rural surplus labor transfer to the city is its direct cause.Because of their huge number and special living environment, we urgently need toinvest our more attention. Study of migrant workers not only to improve organizationalperformance, promote enterprise is significant, but also for the development of country’seconomic, to construct harmonious society is very crucial.This paper aims at knowing the relationship between work stress, family patternand happiness, comparing influence of work stress on happiness in the differentfamily patterns, putting forward management methods about reducing stress andimproving happiness. The purpose is to provide a decision-making reference for theestablishment of an effective mechanism of migrant workers can have a rapidintegration into the urban life, the city can have a stable development.Currently, foreign scholars’ studies on the happiness of migrant workers are almostempty, and domestic scholars’ studies are more focused on their happiness status andinfluence factors. Based on "Transactional model" and "Buffering effect model", thispaper examines the effect of tissue pressure, working itself pressure and individualpressure on happiness. At the same time, on whether the family patterns have regulatingeffects are studied.This paper mainly includes two aspects as follows.1.On the basis of combining thedomestic and foreign research results and ten migrant married migrant workersinterviews, this paper compiled work stress questionnaire and family patternquestionnaire.2.By empirical research, this paper get the situation of work stress, familypattern and happiness, and using correlation analysis, regression analysis to verify thehypotheses of this paper.Through the above research, this paper draws the following conclusion.1.Themeasurement results show that work stress is moderate among the migrant workers, the work itself is the most stressful. Happiness measurement results show that migrantworkers’ individual and family factors have the highest score, the lowest is economicfactor.2.Work stress has significant negative on happiness. The greater stress they have,the lower happiness they will have, and the work itself have the greatestinfluence.3.Different family patterns of migrant workers have different sense ofhappiness, and reach significant level. Migrant workers’ happiness score shows thecouple separated type is lower the family separated type, family separated type is lowerthan the whole family out type.4.To investigate moderating role of family pattern to therelationship between work stress and happiness.Based on the above conclusion, this paper puts forward related suggestions whichrelated to working environment, organization system, living conditions etc. In order toimprove the working conditions, happiness, to promote the healthy and stabledevelopment of the society, we need both efforts of local government and the relatedenterprises.
