In recent years, anomie information behavior has attracted more and more attentions fromacademic circles, education circles and the society. As the valuable human resources to thecountry’s prosperity and development, college students, who can promote social progress anddevelopment, largely concerns the revival of our nationhood. As a result, the deep research on theanomie information behavior of college students, not only affects the security and stability of thesociety, but also benefits students themselves.Based on the Information Life Cycle, Information Communication, Information Behavior,Anomie Theory and Information Literacy and so on, through questionnaire survey, randominterviews and other research methods, the paper explores the framework of college students’anomie information behavior. It is preliminary divided into three modules, college students’ anomiebehavior in the process of information manufacturing and distributing, information search,screening and selection and information use. Besides that, it also analyzes the essentialcharacteristics of the college students’ anomie information behavior, as well as the effect anddamage.Combined with all kinds of characteristics and harms of the college students’ anomieinformation behavior, causes are further analyzed in theory. At the same time, the countermeasuresare proposed respectively from three perspectives which are student individual, college, and society.It not only has reference significance to the contemporary college students’ information literacy, butalso has the benefits to the college and university’s education and management. What’s more, it isalso meaningful to the society’s harmonious information environment.
