Improving the scientific literacy is the general objective of science curriculum. Scientific literacy of high school students affects, even directly decides our country citizen’s scientific literacy.This article aims to study strategies to improve the science literacy of high school students, and analyze the instructional design, classroom teaching, and school-based curriculum by doing teaching. It also proposes to introduce the history of physics in physics class, encourage students to do more hands-on experiments, enhance the role of scientific inquiry and STSE education strategy in increasing students’scientific knowledge, improving students’scientific method, scientific thinking, manipulative ability and innovation ability. What’s more, this article designs the course of "Galileo’s study of free fall" and the "resultant of force", and put it into practice, and then analyzes the effectiveness of the design. At last, the article investigates the role of school-based curriculum in improving students’ scientific literacy by analyzing "research free fall by displacement sensors" and "Crown secret-Archimedes’law of buoyancy".At the end of this article, the author put forward some suggestions of teaching,1.Teachers should have an Awareness of improving students’scientific literacy,2.Teachers should improve their scientific literacy,3.Teachers should improve their ability to control the classroom.4.schools can establish corresponding physics school-based curriculum. That it can help improve the scientific literacy of high school students during physical teaching is the hope of this article. |
