| The assessment of kindergarten caring and teaching quality is an important mean ofpromoting the development of preschool education. As a part of the assessment ofkindergarten caring and teaching quality, teacher evaluation is crucial in promotingteachers’ professional development. The assessment of administration supervision isuniversal in current situation of kindergarten assessment of caring and teaching quality andteacher evaluation is used to gain administration profit. Therefore,it’s an essential subject todeepen the reform of the assessment of kindergarten caring and teaching quality and torealize the purpose of teacher evaluation.From the perspect of the assessment of kindergarten caring and teaching quality, thethesis attempts to establish an index system of teacher evaluation, which is different fromthe assessment of administration supervision. Breaking the phenomenon of merelycommenting without solving practical problems, it begins to research the problems byempirical study. In the process of constructing index system, this research mainly usesliterature analysis, investigation, data analysis, and adopts the factor analysis to establishall levels of indexes, and takes advantage of the analytic hierarchy process to set theweight of each index. The research sets a standard of kindergarten teacher evaluation, andputs it into practice. At last, it gives some suggestions for its shortcoming and further study.Two first grade indicator,five second grade indicator,twenty five third grade indicatorare involved in the index system of kindergarten teacher evaluation. As a part of theassessment of kindergarten caring and teaching quality, the evaluation system plays animportant role in the development, reform and management of preschool education, and inimproving kindergarten teacher’s quality, also in promoting teacher’s professionaldevelopment. |
