As the leading character in Chinese manufacturing field, Zhejiang Province has beenthe main target place to seek for employment for migrant workers from the central andwestern parts of China since the Reform and Opening-up policy was put into effect.Withthe increasing population of the rural labor output,migrant workers have become of greatsignificance in our industry.It is worth mentioning that a few new trends have becomeprevalent in the eastern China,including the industry transformation and upgrading,laborshortage and the trend of drifting back home.Based on the theory of human resource,thisarticle built upon various manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang Province and conductedresearch on factors that may have impact on the job training for migrant workers,so as toprovide scientific basis for the research on migrant workers’ job training.It may beconfirmed that with all the theoretical research mentioned above.comparatively morescientific and sophisticated policy can be made and therefore the migrant workers’ jobtraining and quality can be improved.Firstly, this thesis portrays the situation of Zhejiang’s vocational training for migrantworkers through official interview record provided by government and enterprises andother second-hand materials; Besides, vocational training related questionnaire had beenhanded out to199migrant workers in4sample enterprises and199valid replies werereceived. Then this thesis carries theoretical analysis on questionnaire feedback by themeans of Multiple Linear Regression and empirical analysis on factors that may influencethe job training outcome from migrant workers’ reaction and perception. Ultimately, it isconcluded that there exist13factors which can be classified into personality and trainingmotivation group and training system and environment group.Last but not least, the thesis offers suggestions as reference on improvement ofmigrant workers’ training, on enterprise investment and government sponsored training,and on migrant workers’ income and job training related social security system.
