With the development of society and economy, education reform to promote. Physicaleducation curriculum in China also follow the development has entered a new stage.Allaround the "health first" guiding ideology, emphasis on the development of students as thecenter, pay attention to cultivate the students’ interest and expertise, to lay the foundationfor lifelong sports. High school sports teaching options is a new course and students, hasbecome an important part of high school physical education. It break through thetraditional teaching mode of physical education malpractice "make it rigidly uniform", notonly the teaching content is more rich and colorful, and the teaching form and teachingevaluation are more flexible and diverse, from the teaching idea to practice more to adaptto the physical and mental characteristics and law of the development of senior high schoolstudents, to meet the needs and interests of students in physical exercise, healthy growthand development promote students.In this paper, through the research methods of questionnaire, literature material method,expert interview method on Extraction of Beijing city six district (county) has carried onthe investigation and Research on the current situation of sports option teaching in highschool. Several aspects mainly from the students’ interest and demand, the school siteequipment, the option of teaching contents, teaching organization form, teaching methods,teaching evaluation and teaching effect such as research, to understand the sports optionteaching in some schools in Beijing city in the practice teaching can not only take place,also have deficiencies. This study aims at current situation of sports option teaching byunderstanding the analysis part of high school in Beijing City, timely find problems andinsufficiency, and provide countermeasures and experience for the future development ofthe sports option teaching.This paper draws the following conclusion:1.The sports option teaching can the better meet the needs and interests of students, makestudents interest and teaching resources to obtain the best combination, is beneficial toexplore the implementation of sports and health curriculum reform, quality education,teaching resource optimization.2.The majority of students in Beijing city high school is more love for sports optionteaching, think it is necessary to set up the sports option teaching; also a part of thestudents because the concept is not clear, the target is not clear and blind, to follow thetrend of the selection of projects exist.3.Practical teaching content comparison with students and school, but part of thecurriculum requirements difficult and students are unified; the number of the students in part of the project is relatively concentrated, the project between the imbalance ofdevelopment.4.The form of teaching organization and methods of multi mainly by students, but theoption of teaching organization form is not very reasonable, the teaching organization andmanagement difficulty increases; teaching methods and means of teaching option thantraditional, single; the lack of high school characteristic the sports option teachingmaterials.5.Teaching evaluation of high school sports and healthy class type to summativeassessment, evaluation participants to teachers on students’ evaluation.6.Diversified development of professional structure and quantity restriction sports optionteaching teachers, professional structure and quantity by adopting the way of training,focus on the introduction of campus recruiting, hiring, society, intercollegiate exchange tooptimize the teachers’ needs.7.School sports venues and facilities, level and quality have greatly improved in recentyears, to meet the basic requirements of the sports option teaching course; but somestudents like emerging sports project because of limited space, lack of equipments can notbe carried out. Should schools and community sports facilities, resources integration andsharing, to achieve comprehensive utilization of resources to promote the idea of SchoolDistrict Sports option teaching.
