The Research On Social Transition Of Chinese Elite Martial Arts Athletes

Elite athletes bear with kinds of pressures in the decommissioning process. There is a big difference in the emergence of problems in the results of elite athlete’s conversion process of social roles affected by sports, national policies, personality traits and opportunity factors. In this paper, based on the life course theory, from the time dimension of the employment till athletes’retirement, practitioners analyze how different experiences and external factors affect athletes’athletic career, in order to provide some suggestions for our elite athletes during the conversion of their social role, and the retirement security policy as a reference.This paper treats the social role conversion process of elite athletes as the object of study. The interview of world-class athletes and national team athlete of Beijing, Beijing sports university team of Wushu, Sanda and other items for the survey, is of great typical and representative. In this paper, the use of interviews and case analysis to select the most typical case to comment on the case appeared in a typical phenomenon, exploring the causes of the problems and seek solutions to the problems.There is a plenty of factors result in the problems during the social transition of Chinese elite Athletes, such as affected by external factors strongly, short duration of action by the family, low level of the general socialization, lack of basic education, severe sports injuries, psychological problems, vocational training and job placement problems. To settle the matters above, we should accelerate the transformation of competitive sports system and improve the sports industry structure. Improve our security policy to match the progress of our economic reform and social security system. Focus on strengthening research on local athletes security policies, to ensure the stability and maneuverability of our security policies. Make sure that the supervision of security policies for athletes in place. Improve the integration of school education and the athletes training gradually, basic education of athletes should turns into the education system. Reduce the differences of the treatment between the athlete won the gold medal and others. Improve the athlete management system structure, highlight the human principles. Establish career planning and social support system th the athletes to assist specialized agencies and job placement of retired athletes. Add vocational training in the process of athletes’ sport training.
