The rise of the research on collective memory theory has been a long time among the domestic historians.But there are few posts put this theory together with high school history teaching.The collective memory is originated in the field of Sociology,and it means a collective recall of their past.Its essence is the reflection of the collective mentality.For history, the historical material is the vector of historical facts.And it contains some collective memory inside. But nowdays historical sources teaching in senior high school does not good at this point.Because the teacher just want to get the surface information.So,teacher should lead the student to dig the inherent culture meanning of the historical materials in the course of the class.If they do,we will have a new understanding about the cultural and social value of the historical material.so we can get closer to the nature of history.And we can help the students to improving their historical thinking skills,at the same time,they can set up a scientific view of history.
