With the development of the current English education,almost all primary school startedEnglish class,but many English teachers are insufficient and English class hours are shortagein some schools.Many English teachers just let students read the new words, phrases andrecite the texts in order to accomplish the task of teaching in English class, causing the lack ofinteraction of the students.After the class, students often do not know the meaning that hewas reading in the class.There are many schools pay more attention to the teaching ofEnglish,having three English class every week and full-time English teachers.But due to theinfluence of environment,teachers also just want to make the students get good grades inordinary English teaching, so the students’ actual harvest is insufficient, resulting in pooreffect of English teaching.There are some disadvantages in the traditional English teaching.Inorder to improve the effect of English teaching, many domestic and international scholarsexplore the effectiveness of primary school English teaching.The new curriculum reform inprimary school English has put forward many new ideas in English teaching.All of theseprovide the premise condition in improving the effectiveness of primary school Englishteaching with the application of modern educational technology.The modern education technology is a Auxiliary teaching means to design the teachingprocess systematically,organize the resources and teaching activities reasonably andpromote the quality of teaching and learning quality effectively,which is mainly based on thethought of new curriculum standards and the quality education, with the computer and relatedtechnology,resources as the main teaching auxiliary methods.It has abundant content whichmainly including electronic course ware, network source and remote education.It also hasmany characters,such as image, novelty, diversity, richness, intuitive,interesting.Popularization of modern educational technology offers rich education resourceand brings many opportunities in our teaching work.The use of modern educationaltechnology in our English class can stimulate students’ interest of English learning, give fullplay to their autonomy in study, change from passive studying to initiative studying andimprove students’ thinking and imagination.So our English teaching can perform moreefficiently.It also can improve the effectiveness of teaching with reducing the workload ofteachers at the same time. There are a lot of misunderstandings in English teaching of primary school with the modern educational technology,so we must have further research,preparefully,design the teaching procedures of every class.We should pay attention to stimulating theinterest of students, creating teaching situation, breaking the pivotal and difficult points in theteaching,designing expanding and application activities, guiding the students to utilizeEnglish resources in the network and so on. English teachers in primary school should changeroles timely, study the modern education technology earnestly, improve themselves quality,and use the modern education technology to improve the effectiveness of English teaching inprimary school in order to adapt to the demands of modern education.
