This contributes to the implementation of education for all-around development. Ever since 1998, the implementation of physical examination system in senior high school entrance examination has existed for 17 years in Wuhan City. In the past 17 years, Wuhan has been researching on new ideas for reforming. The discussion on the reform has been deepening. This research mainly adopts such methods as literature data method, investigation method of the questionnaire, interview and logical analysis. It gives an introduction to physical examination system in our country, describing the development and current situation of the PE examination system. It analyzes the impacts and problems while PE examination system was carried on and finally draws the following conclusions:The current PE Examination system has positive influence on Wuhan PE class: expanding working methods of PE teaching; developing PE teachers’professional skills; making students attach more importance to PE class and fitness. Meanwhile, it has negative effects as well:students only practice items of exams, which is inconsistent with curriculum standards; there is a contradiction with the implementation of physical education and health course.Examination in Wuhan still has some shortcomings: ①On the aspects of centralized examination, the evaluation is limited for its failure in stimulating students’ interests in sports effectively and cultivation of sports habits; lack of tests on students’ basic knowledge about sports appraisal; lack of tests on student’s level of technique; improper projects setting; failure of taking into account differences between students’innate physical condition, not being able to reflect the physical health status of students comprehensively.② On the aspects of regular grade, although there are clear criteria for regular grade, some schools are not honest with it. Besides, there isnt an effective supervision mechanism, so is not conducive to education fairness. At the same time, regular grade can not judge students’fitness in all round dimensions even it is given completely according to national standards. ③ On other aspects, considering the fairness of the examination, the principles on delaying of the exam and excusing fro the exam are not proper. Besides, teachers and parents have such concept that PE is not a learning process. Finally, aiming at some problems found in the research, the author gives several advice from the aspects of content selection, evaluation mode, exemption, and corrosion policy. |
