Along with society’s advance and development, junior middle school English is being more and more concerned by people and has become the main course of high school. As a kind of language, the value and significance of the study is to communicate with people and apply to the practice and the real language environment. New language curriculum standard also requires to cultivate the students’ practical application ability and autonomous learning ability, but part of the countryside junior middle schools’ English class teaching is on the contrary: the teachers ignore the students’ English level in primary school and just script concepts and grammar knowledge. What is more, they don’t create good language communication environment and atmosphere to make the students speak and use English truly. Some students study knowledge passively, who can only do the exercises but can’t communicate. More students is afraid of English and they have lost confidence and interest in English completely. Such teaching has reversed the original intention of learning English and also violated the law of language learning,let alone making the students learn happily on their own initiative. So, how to improve the countryside’s junior middle school English classroom teaching efficiency is the key and difficult point for the basic education reform. In view of this, the object of this study is aiming at the countryside junior middle school English classroom.Based on author’s nine-year junior middle school English teaching experience, in teaching practice example analysis under the guidance of tutor as the main line, combining with other effective classroom teaching cases, this article explored the problems and the reasons for the low efficiency of the present countryside junior middle school English classroom teaching. Expected from individual to universal, this paper summarized the basic characteristics of effective English classroom, reveal the basic methods and strategies of the countryside junior middle school English classroom effective teaching, thus can improve the teaching efficiency of the countryside junior middle school English classroom.This paper will be divided into five parts:The first part: introduction. State the reason for the research of this topic, explain the purpose and significance of research. Through the literature and data, analyze the present situation of domestic and foreign research about junior middle school English classroom teaching effectively, and define the core concepts, introduce the idea and method of research.The second part: the problems existing in the countryside junior middle school English classroom and analyzing the cause of formation. Through to the interview for the teachers andstudents and classroom observation and practice, the article summed up the problems existing in the countryside junior middle school English classroom and analyzed the reasons of the problems profoundly.The third part: summarized the four basic characteristics of the effective countryside junior middle school English classroom.Entirety; harmony; subjectivity and democracy.The fourth part: Sum up the basic strategy of the countryside junior middle school English effective classroom, the construction of autonomous classroom, mutual classroom and happy classroom.The fifth part: The epilogue. To reflect the deficiency existing in this research, in order to improve and perfect.
