This study aimed to explore the effect of group counseling intervention for Pupils’ Loneliness. Studies have shown that childhood feeling of loneliness will have some impact on their future quality of life and adaptation. If the child is a long time in solitude will result in generating a lot of psychological problems, affecting the healthy growth of children. According to Asher’s survey showed that 10% to 16% of pupils at the lower levels of severe loneliness. Combined with domestic and international literature on Loneliness, Found that college students and old man are the main object of study,Loneliness study, adolescents and children for the study is still limited. In the research focused on the study of loneliness more generation factors, while ignoring the loneliness of intervention and preventionTherefore, this study choose students become the main object of study, Investigation and screening of children through CLS Loneliness Scale, pupils of higher loneliness conducted Group Psychotherapy of intervention.Aimed at finding effective interventions to improve pupils Loneliness, for students to develop positive mental health.This study consists of two parts, the first part of the survey analysis,students form Beiyuan Street in Hohhot,from third grade to sixth grade students for a total of 429 subjects, conducted a questionnaire survey, and EXCEL and SPSS19.0 software was used for processing.Survey results: 1.Hohhot Beiyuan Street Elementary School students in grades three to six accounted for 40% of the total screening, which have loneliness, and about12% pupils have a high level loneliness;2.Pupils loneliness scores there was no significant difference in grade, ethnicity,in gender boy’s loneliness scores was higher than girl’s.The second part is the Group Psychotherapy intervention counseling: Beiyuan Street in Hohhot third grade and fourth grade students as the subjects, using CLS Loneliness Scale for screening children, will select the 60 high Loneliness students were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group of 30 students, conduct 9 times loneliness Group Psychological Guidance intervention control group of 30 students is not counseling, with the normal classroom teaching.Survey results: 1.After the experimental group of students during Group Psychological Guidance intervention, their loneliness levels were significantly decreased, the pretest scores and the posttest scores were significantly different;2.Test scores has significant different between the experimental group and the control group, there is no difference between the test score around the control group loneliness;3.At the end of Group Psychological Guidance for students in the experimental group group counseling questionnaire results showed that Group Psychological Guidance to improve students’ psychological health have a certain effect;4.Group Psychological Guidance to improve pupils Loneliness has significant effects, can provide practical guidance for school mental health education.This study’s Group Psychological Guidance on the basis of formerly studied and combined with our students age characteristics, hobbies to design Group Psychological Guidance’s content, mainly to change the students’ poor cognition, learning social skills, increase opportunities for social interaction, social support and other ways to improve pupil’s loneliness. This Group Psychological Guidance is intervention and focused, active process from shallow to deep. Improve the pupil’s loneliness have a significant effect.
