Loneliness is a common negative emotional experience.It refers to the inner feeling of alienation and loss that occurs when an individual does not get the satisfaction of his needs in daily interpersonal communication.Elementary school is in an important period of children’s social development.When children’s social needs are not met,it will also be accompanied by emotional experience of loneliness and loss.Researchers usually divide the influencing factors of loneliness into "personal factors" and "important other factors".This study intends to select the peer attachment variables in important other factors,try to explore the relationship between peer attachment and loneliness,and introduce a sense of school belonging As a mediating variable,further investigate the mediating mechanism of the influence of peer attachment on loneliness.Subsequently,a targeted group tutoring activity plan was formulated,hoping to improve the sense of belonging of primary school students through reasonable intervention methods.Research 1:Using the "Peer Attachment Questionnaire","Primary School Belonging Questionnaire" and "Child Loneliness Scale",a survey was conducted on 457 primary school students in the central region.Explore the level of peer attachment,school belonging and loneliness and the relationship between the three,and try to construct an intermediary model to further investigate the mediating role of school belonging in the relationship between peer attachment and loneliness.Use SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS plug-in to perform descriptive statistical analysis,analysis of variance,correlation analysis,regression analysis and mediating effect test analysis on the questionnaire results.Research 2:Based on the research results of Research 1,the group counseling activity method is used to intervene the pupils’ sense of belonging to the school,and effective methods to enhance the sense of belonging to the school are proposed to provide some references for the content of school mental health education and group tutoring activities.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.In the sample book,the primary school students generally showed a higher quality of peer attachment.In terms of gender,girls score higher in peer attachment than boys,but there is no significant difference.In terms of grades,there are significant differences in the level of peer attachment among elementary school students.Specifically,there are significant differences in the level of peer attachment among students in the fourth and fifth grades,and in the fourth and sixth grades.2.In the sample book,the primary school students generally showed a strong sense of belonging to the school.In terms of gender,girls’ sense of belonging to school is higher than that of boys,but there is no significant difference.In terms of grades,there are significant differences in the level of sense of belonging among primary school students.Specifically,there are significant differences in the sense of belonging between the fourth and fifth grades,and the fourth and sixth grades.3.There is no significant difference in the total score of loneliness among primary school students in gender and age.4.There is a significant negative correlation between peer attachment and loneliness of primary school students,a significant positive correlation with school belonging,and a significant negative correlation between primary school students’ school belonging and loneliness.5.Pupils’ sense of belonging to school plays a part of mediating role in peer attachment and loneliness.6.Group counseling activities can effectively improve the sense of belonging of primary school students.
