As one of nationalities located in the Northern part of China, the Mongolians created their own unique culture in the long history of nomadic life, in which takes the responsibility of inhabiting national culture and educating the citizens through which affect every citizen of the nation. The Mongolian family education is a kind of activity that Mongolian parents educate their children in their daily lives, of which the family moral education plays a significant role in forming physical and mental health, and the good personal character for children. Mongolian family education encompasses content forms and methods unique to the nationality, which have an important effect to the all-round development of the nationality and the stability of the whole society that can not be neglected.The present thesis face the reality and studies the Mongolian family moral education from the perspective of development based on the Mongolian traditional family moral education.The thesis is composed of the following several parts:In Chapter Two, the researcher makes a analysis of Mongolian traditional moral education from historical perspective and explains the content, features, and functions of Mongolian family moral education.In Chapter Four, the present thesis chooses the Mongolian families and schools in the villages and towns of the Left Branch in Tongliao as the subject of the study and studied the problems and generations gap existing in family moral education based on the research results of modes and contents of modern family moral education, and put forward effective measures to the problems existing in modern family moral education including the effective cooperation of family and society and do well of the family moral education.
