In recent years, wuhan tennis has entered a rapid development period. With the improvement of people’s living standard, more and more people are involved, of course it is closely related with the charm of tennis itself also. Along with the continuous development of wuhan tennis, tennis special course, elective course in colleges and universities is more and more get the favour of students, at the same time the tennis teaching environment problems become one of the important factors influencing the teaching quality of tennis. The importance of tennis teaching environment, not only affect the tennis teaching quality, also affects the sustainable development of tennis teaching course.This study introduced the concept of ecology in the tennis teaching environment, the ecology analysis was carried out on the tennis teaching in colleges and universities in wuhan city environment, through the consult literature material, questionnaire survey, field survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis of the results of the survey to find out in the common course for the wuhan university tennis to carry out the process of accumulation of experience and the shortage of the following conclusions:1. The connotation of college tennis teaching environment in wuhan city based on ecology theories can be divided into physical environment, social environment and spiritual environment, physical environment mainly include tennis teaching time arrangement, class size, number of sites, and open form; Social environment mainly includes the interpersonal relation in the teaching activity, college students in tennis knowledge information acquisition way, teachers, and extracurricular condition; Mental environment mainly includes the student’s love in the tennis and school leadership attaches great importance to.2. According to ecology principle model, in the common course for the wuhan university tennis on the dimension of the physical environment have general repair wingsley hours can not meet the practical requirements, the student class size more common and affect the quality of teaching, to a certain extent, the tennis venue shortage, is open to students tolls, are the problem.3. In the spirit of teaching environment in the common course for the wuhan university tennis dimensions performance on course for the students enthusiasm high, high degree of love of tennis sport, school leaders for more attention to in the common course for the tennis.
