Class teaching language could be classified as spoken language and silent language. In politics class teaching, the teacher’s expressions are important means of conveying information in the process of teaching, which is now a hot issue of present teaching research. However, as the auxiliary tool of spoken language, silent language plays an important role in teaching practice. Moreover, body language, an essential part of silent language, is becoming increasingly prominent in supporting politics class teaching.Based on body language as the breakthrough point, the article firstly analyzes its features, which are pointed out as follows. Firstly, auxiliary and concomitant; Secondly, richness; Thirdly, independence; Fourthly, authenticity. Then body language and the high school politics class teaching are combined, subdivided into the head, facial expressions, eye contact, gestures, space language and physical dressing.With the deepening of high school new curriculum reform, in view of the differences among elementary schools, middle schools and high schools, the new characteristics of high school politics teaching are summarized as the following. First, the teaching process focuses on process, participation and experience. Second, changes of the position of students and teachers happen in politics teaching practice. Third, high school politics teaching are closely related with students’ physical and mental development.In order to prove the importance of body language in high school politics teaching, the article also analyzes its roles, and points out that body language have the following roles. First of all, increase the visual impression and make the content of the abstract visualized. Secondly, improve students’ learning interest and enthusiasm and make the profound philosophy life. Thirdly, organize and manage classes in order. Fourthly, bring feedbacks of classroom teaching and make the teaching and learning progress harmonious. Meanwhile, some problems in using body language in high school politics teaching are also pointed out, so the necessity for correct using of body language embodies in the following aspects. First, high school politics teachers don’t have strong abilities to use body language. Second, there exist deviations in understanding body language itself. Then the causes of the problem are analyzed as follows. First, it’s because of the influence from teachers" traditional education concept. Second, the teachers’ quality fail to timely keep pace with time. Third, there exists the lack of professional skills training of body language using.To solve the problems and analysis above in high school politics teaching, principles and solutions are put forward. Using of body language should take the following principles. Firstly, natural; Secondly, moderate; Thirdly, harmonious and unified; Fourthly, targeted.The article relates with high school politics class teaching practice and summarizes approaches of concrete body language using. Firstly, use the first words to attract students. Secondly, attract students with facial expressions. Thirdly, use of eye contact to control the class; Fourthly, use of gestures to aid teaching. Fifthly, use of posture to influence students; Last but not least, use of dress language to edify students. About the facial expressions, there are several ways to watch. First, the use of mild facial expressions, which points out that a gentle facial expression is the premise to build telepathy with the students which could enter students’ emotional world. Secondly, the use of smile language, which puts forward that the use could get effective in class teaching. First of all, smile may get teachers a good state of mind to the best teaching level. Secondly, teachers’ smile could be accepted by students to create a wonderful state for them, which could increase learning interest and efficiency. Thirdly, teachers’ smile might remove; mitigate contradictions, which could improve the relationship between teachers and students.The article adopts literature method, questionnaire survey method, in-class observation method, interview method, example method, through the use of body language situation, present problems and reason analysis, further studies of the use of body language in high school class practice to strengthen communication between teachers and students are put forward, thus to improve the effectiveness of high school politics class. The article aims to analyze the approaches of raising class teaching effectiveness based on practice and application, which lays the creativity and target of the study.To conclude, elegant manners, amiable face, appropriate gesture and decent dress all subtle roles to students in the process of teaching. Moreover, Teachers use suitable body language and apply purposeful postures and facial expressions to make the silent language take a silent but remarkable effect.
