Thailand vocational and technical education has a long history. Now have formed the multilevel vocational and technical education system, full of vitality by over 100 years development and reform. Thailand vocational and technical education based on their national conditions, benefit from Eastern and Western culture and other countries excellent experience about develop vocational and technical education, have made a great contribution to national development and increased more employed opportunities. The experience of develop and reform vocational and technical education can be obtained for vocational and technical education in our country.At present, Thailand has formed the multilevel system of vocational and technical education. The multiplicative forms of school running with public schools, private schools, also ordinary middle school. Every vocational and technical education college not only undertakes the task of degree education, but also provide vocational and technical training, short-term training, to meet demand of the different levels. Using the dual-track education model based on the credit system, students can flow in general education and vocational and technical education. In order to strengthen vocational and technical education guidance, Thailand government has adjust the ratio of general education and vocational and technical education ratio to 1:1, and strengthen cooperation between the office of vocational education commission(OVEC) and the office of basic education commission(OBEC), the office of non-formal education commission and other agencies and departments.This thesis mainly utilizes the literature analytic method, the case study method, historical research and other research methods to analyze and summarize the relevant laws and regulations of Thailand vocational and technical education, combs the development history of Thailand vocational and technical education, based on previous studies and the latest data. Meanwhile, this thesis elucidated the external system and internal system, viewed from the points of macroscopic and microscopic, theory and practice, history and reality, then make some suggestions and recommendations to vocational and technical education in our country. Five aspects are included in this article as follows:Firstly, this thesis gives an overview of the Thailand multilevel occupation technology education system. Thailand vocational and technical education originated from handicraft industry times. From bourgeois-democratic revolution 1932 to the end of the 20th century, many vocational and technical colleges set up with the help of the international organizations. After the 1997 financial crisis, Thailand vocational and technical education reformed, and established OVEC,formed level three levels of vocational and technical education——secondary vocational and technical education, higher vocational and technical education and university level vocational and technical education.Secondly, based on the analysis of the Thailand vocational and technical education development and the current system, make a concrete analysis of the external system of multilevel vocational and technical education. Mainly includes five aspects of administrative, legal and policy, international cooperation, Thailand vocational qualification(TVQ) and Thailand vocational cooperative(V-COP).Thirdly, through on-the-spot investigation and analysis of the three Thailand vocational and technical education colleges, make a concrete analysis of the internal system of multilevel vocational and technical education. Mainly elaborate from five aspects——talents training, enrollment and employment, major and curriculum, teachers source and level and intercollegiate cooperation.Fourthly, made a systematic induction of new initiatives to reform the multilevel system of Thailand vocational and technical education, mainly includes 3 sub strategies of reposition, management reform, reallocation of resources. Reposition refers to establish national talent s training plan, promote the establishment of TVQ and the reform of learning. Management reform refers to the reform of the management and operation of the system and the development of cooperative system. Reallocation of resources refers to the reform of personnel, resources and media, and strengthen the application of information technology in the vocational and technical education.At last, based on the analysis of the Thailand vocational and technical education development, the present situation, the internal and external system and reform measures, the author summarizes the enlightenment to vocational and technical education in our country. Include four aspects——the establishment of government, enterprises and school "three-in-one" school running mechanism, set the majors with the local characteristics, consummate the TVQ and strengthen international cooperation.
