Research And Design Of Awareness Of Basic Art Education In Primary And Secondary Schools

With the rapid development of modern design in China, the phenomenon of emphasizing art and ignoring design is changed to some extent. The cultivation of design consciousness is showing more and more important educational value in art basic education, which is of great value to cultivate the students’ overall quality and innovation quality. The purpose of this paper is to attract the students to participate in art appreciation and practice by using the advantage of design consciousness cultivation so as to let the students perceive the artistic image actively, experiencing artistic emotions, mastering artistic skills and stimulating their desire of expression and creation. By applying specific teaching cases as examples, this paper means to reveal the internal rules of primary and secondary design education, promoting the concern of artistic and educational professionals to the design consciousness cultivation of primary and secondary art education, in which case is also valuable for theory exploration in primary and secondary education.This paper, by using the methods of literature research, comparative studies and case analysis, elaborating the design education status in developed countries as well as the development history of design education in primary and secondary education in China, summarizing the similarities and differences of design education, discussing the strategies and methods of design consciousness cultivation according to the inspect of teaching models, curriculum contents and teaching materials, teacher qualifications, searching for the new methods of design consciousness cultivation by investigating different teaching contents and students with different ages. Finally, from the perspective of teaching design feasibility and value terms, gives a summary to the whole paper.
