| The promulgation of "Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards" kicked off the reform of physical education curriculum in basic education in China,and promoted the development of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools.However,the reform of physical education curriculum was not smooth sailing.The new curriculum standard puts forward "goal leads content" on the premise of setting curriculum goals,and gives the right to choose content to schools and PE teachers.At present,there are still some problems in the selection and connection of PE curriculum content in PE teaching.In the research,the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and comparative analysis were used to analyze the text of the current Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health in primary and secondary schools and the Teaching Guide of Physical Education and Health in Primary and Secondary Schools in Urumqi(2021 edition)(hereinafter referred to as "the Teaching Guide"),and the current situation of the implementation of the convergence of physical education curriculum content in primary and secondary schools in Urumqi was investigated.The results showed that:1.In terms of policy guidance documents.(1)The goal of physical education and health curriculum in primary and secondary schools is not well connected;(2)The contents of sports skills courses in the Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health in primary and secondary schools are stable and continuous.Physical education courses require students to master the contents of sports skills courses and the progressive process of learning sports skills,which reflects the progressive nature of sports skills courses;(3)The overall arrangement of the contents in the "Teaching Guide" is reasonable,and there is a clear connection between different levels,which is hierarchical and progressive.2.The current situation of physical education teaching in 12-year-old schools in Urumqi.Teacher level: the achievement of teaching objectives in each stage is good,but the achievement of motor skills objectives in the three stages is inconsistent;Paying insufficient attention to the evaluation of students’ motor skills and lacking a unified evaluation standard;Teachers’ familiarity with textbooks and curriculum standards in other stages,communication with teachers in other stages,and the investigation of students’ physical education foundation in the previous level are not optimistic;Student level: the degree to which the course content meets students’ interests is getting lower and lower from primary school to high school;The feedback from students on the difficulty of course content shows that the difficulty of course content in the three stages is not much different;Students’ satisfaction with the course is high,but their mastery of the course content is average.Content implementation: There are repetition and fault phenomena when PE teachers in primary and secondary schools choose curriculum content.The difficulty of PE curriculum content in each stage is not well connected,which does not reflect the characteristics of what they have learned in each stage,resulting in poor connection of PE curriculum content in primary and secondary schools.3.There are some problems in the implementation of the convergence of physical education curriculum contents in primary and secondary schools in Urumqi:(1)the objective dimensions of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools are not unified;(2)The content selection of physical education courses in primary and secondary schools is not closely related to the actual situation of students;(3)PE teachers in primary and secondary schools don’t pay enough attention to the evaluation of students’ motor skills,and there is no unified evaluation standard;(4)P.E.teachers in primary and secondary schools don’t know enough about the connection of P.E.curriculum content;(5)Lack of facilities.4.In view of the existing problems,the following suggestions are put forward:constructing a reasonable target system of physical education curriculum;Scientifically select the course content according to the course standards and the actual needs of students;Establish a common guiding evaluation standard;Improve the sense of cohesion,and strengthen the exchange and study of physical education teachers in different classes;Strengthen the construction of sports facilities in primary and secondary schools. |
