Research On Public Sports Cultural Construction Of Suzhou City

On the basis of comprehensive analysis the research achievements related with public sports culture by the domestic and foreign scholars, this article gave the corresponding definition of public sports culture by a document. Particularly, under the steps and method assistance of Professor Wenhua Xing, who proposed the screening index system. In this paper, we successfully screen the index system and structure which can effectively reflect the public sports culture construction of Suzhou. Moreover, we also point out that four aspects should be included in Suzhou public sports culture construction; they are material culture, spiritual culture, behavior culture and institution culture, respectively. And each aspect possesses a diverse position and value in the whole public sports culture structure: material culture is the outermost layer of the public sports, it plays a fundamental role in the whole public sports cultural construction, institution culture is used to ensure the smooth implementation of public sports culture construction policy, spiritual culture is the core of the public sports culture construction and behavior culture directly reflects the quality level of the public sports culture construction. Based on the above-mentioned, from the starting-point of the present status of the Suzhou public sports culture construction, this research also points out the current achievements and the existing main problems in the process of Suzhou public sports culture construction through the questionnaire investigation, expert interview method and logic analysis, etc. The results are as follows: Suzhou has built a number of symbolic sport sculptures in the proper position during the construction process of public sports material culture;Even though most of the citizens in Suzhou have already formed the right sports values, the depth and breadth of public sports system remains to be strengthened and improved.;Although the construction of public sports material culture of Suzhou city is relatively perfect which basically meet the exercise needs of Suzhou citizens, the management of related management department to record and summarize the local public sports activity awaits to be further improved and strengthened; Some other problems, such as too traditional sports values, lacking of perseverance to participate in physical exercise, the social instructors’ insufficient knowledge on sports, local residents’ attitude toward sports and weak promotion power toward the local residents are the barrier required to overcome so far.By referencing predecessors’ research results and combining with the actual situation of Suzhou public sports culture construction, countermeasures and corresponding measurement to improve the level of Suzhou city public sports culture construction are briefly presented: The government should elaborately plan and build public sports spots and humanities landscape to improve the cultural taste of Suzhou public sports; Regional department of the local government should profoundly realize the role and significance of public sports culture construction to solve the livelihood issues and a harmonious society; Taking the advantages of the platform, the related department of Suzhou government shall establish a specialized sports organization to widely publicise the physical health knowledge to the local residents; We should highlight and emphasize the guiding role of sports system in public sports cultural construction, making it develop towards the healthy and civilized; Meanwhile, in order to fully play the role of the community in public sports culture construction, the community and related management personnel can organize various sports activities according to the different community residents’ needs by the community unit form. As it is known to all, community is an organization which serves for the people and the masses directly.
