The proportion of development of art students who is a large group of Candidates is increasing. These students not only need to attend music, art, dance, media arts professionals such as college entrance examination, but also participate in the national college entrance examination culture. In many high schools, the art students are a special group. In terms of cultural learning, the school does not have a separate system and management tools. They are not paid enough attention to the culture of learning. The efficiency of classroom teaching is very low, and the cultural SAT score is not ideal. How to change the art students of geography learning situation and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching geography and the learning ability of art students of geography have become a focus of teaching and research. Implementation of teaching is in the hierarchical teaching students on the basis of respect for differences, in order to promote each student to get a teaching model of development.This study was the first to explore the hierarchical teaching in geography class of art students, according to the survey results, the experimental class stratification, using the hierarchical teaching objectives, teaching content layered, layered work, teaching evaluation stratified, for a period of six months’ hierarchical teaching experiment, by the author of three monthly exam scores and student exchanges as well as in class observation, comparing with the control class, I find hierarchical teaching of art students is an effective progress to promote student learning geography at all levels.
