The research of higher vocational education is no longer a matter of the educational world, even involving the future and destiny of the nation. As control link in higher vocational education quality, the higher vocational education curriculum examination, its research value and position is self-evident.In the perspective of new institutionalism, this paper traces the exam originated in the history of the development of higher vocational education courses, to explore the rules of the development of its search for course exam development path, through the survey of 5 higher vocational education students in Wuhan city, at the same time a random sample of 6 respondents were interviewed to collect data, found little productive examination system of higher vocational education curriculum reform, but there are still a larger increase space, the problems are mainly concentrated in course examination policy design and administration.
