| Since the reform and opening up, people’s living standards are improving unceasingly,and their concepts are gradually being updated,thus going to the gym has become a trend. And Yoga is being sought after by a great many of members in the gym due to its unique form of exercise.Because it’s not such a long time before Yoga is popularized in our country,especially in three or four lines of urban places like Shiyan,it’s still in the condition of being explored and carried forward. On the development of Yoga project,there still exists many aspects to improve in its operation and managemen.In this paper,the mainly use of documentary analysis,Questionnaire survey,observational survey, mathematical statistics and the combined use of interviews and logical analysis conducted a survey of the current situation of Yoga project in the gyms of Shiyan city. This survey is targeted with the managers,Yoga trainers,members of the gyms to grasp the development situation and shortages.By comparing and analyzing the three or four lines of urban cities in Midwest area like Shiyan side-by-side,we can have an in-depth knowledge of its current situation of Yoga project in the gyms so that we can make a summary of the developing condition of Yoga in gyms of Shiyan city and dig into the problems and reasons of its process and find out the corresponding strategies.Here are research conclusions as follows:1.Yoga in the Two dancing rooms,six Yoga clubs,eight fitness clubs of Shiyan City are welcomed by members,which shows a generally good market effect.2.The reason for managers(operators)to introduce Yoga project and setting up Yoga classes is due to the needs of members,enlargement of focus groups of market and enhancement of competitive,social popular trend.3.There are Yoga trainers of dancing rooms,Yoga clubs and fitness clubs in Shiyan City younger this phenomenon,hiring part-time trainers is becoming mainstream and there are few trainers continuing a refresher course.And their credentials are multifarious.4.The majority of yoga members of dancing rooms,Yoga clubs and fitness clubs in Shiyan City are female persons,aged between 20 to 50,and the aim of their training is to lose weight,keeping slim,healthy,enhancing their body’s flexibility and relaxing their body and mind.The training time and frequency are uncertain.5.The problems of Yoga development in gyms of Shiyan City can be summarized as:The managers(operators) see the benefit as important, they have a poor knowledge of Yoga,and they don’t operate Yoga class in an appropriate way.For the managers(operators),trainers and large numbers of members of Yoga clubs in Shiyan City,here are some suggestions:1.The managers(operators)should gain insight into Yoga’s nature and its connotation.2.The managers(operators)should try to weigh each side of the question and hire senior trainers with high quality,and simulating their initiative,stressing a sense of duty are encouraged.3.The facilities and management system of Yoga clubs should be further improved.4.Each fitness club should enhance cooperation,promoting communication and try to reach the mutual benefit and shared profit,the phenomenon of vicious competition should be reduced.5.The trainers should continue engage in advanced studies.It’s advocated to enter into a professional agency to have a in-depth study of Yoga and obtain valid certificates.6.The members should also have a knowledge of the nature of Yoga,and such kind of knowledge can be acquired through network media,magazines,professional books and the propaganda of Yoga clubs.7.The compatibility of Yoga projects in various of fitness clubs should be enlarged and its awareness,popularization should be increased.8.1t’s suggested to accomplish the goal of promoting the balance between economic growth and yoga development,and make sure its development in a well-organized order,and create well-behaved environment of market competition,reaching the mutual benefit and win. |
