For math teachers,how to put the teaching tools effectively applied in classroom teaching, and how to maxmize the function of the tools,to be the key of the depth integration of mathematics and "Geometer’s Sketchpad" in the 21st century."Geometer’s Sketchpad", as an educational software of information, which is a teaching modeling and situational cognitive of mathematics, effectively improve the efficiency of classroom teaching with its unique intuitive, dynamic, accurate mapping, etc.This paper, with the function of teaching junior high school as an example, conducted the applied research of using the "Geometer’s Sketchpad" to assist mathematics teaching of junior high schoo.The author sent out questionnaires to mathematics teachers of three junior high schools in the city of Yinchuan to investigate their applied situation of "Geometer’s Sketchpad". By analyzing the collected data, The author found a lower proportion that the math teachers of junior high school use "Geometer’s Sketchpad" in the classroom of the IT teaching. By research the integration of "Geometer’s Sketchpad" and the section unit of math in junior high school, get on the related instructional design and do the the inverse function in teaching, by analysis the test results and interviews with teachers and students, the author concluded that:using "Geometer’s Sketchpad" in junior high school mathematics teaching can stimulate students’ interest in learning, students’ thinking ability, increase the academic performancein of lower middle and the learning efficiency of middle and upper; however, due to the technical barriers of individual teachers and the pressure of the teaching schedule, there are still certain degree of difficulty that "Geometer’s Sketchpad" into the mathematics classroom of junior high school.While the study, due to the experimental study is limited to two classes of the fifteen juior high school in Yinchuan City, and fewer sample size of interviews, and shorter experiments, the conclusion may be bias on time or geographic. But I believe this study have some significance for the "Geometric Sketchpad" subsequent researchers.
