The Geometer’s Sketchpad, the result of development of information and technology has facilitated a new way of thinking for education reform.With the base of current researches on Geometer’s Sketchpad and High school algebra teaching, Constructivism and Ausubel’s Learning theory, Geometer’s Sketchpad can be introduced as a good middle school mathematics classroom teaching platform which can bring changes to students’ mathematics learning for its great power. And its mapping and other functions can be an excellent addition for the combination of number and shape, which will prove student a specific perception of mathematical concepts and nature, a whole perception of the mathematics knowledge system. And it’s also a good assistant for teachers to handle the textbook content, enrich their teaching devices, perfect students’ learning, and assist teachers’ professional development.
