The Study On The Maps’ Capability And Its Cultivating Tactics In The New Geographical Seven Textbook

The foundation geography education reform in the world is an important change, that is change from the "conception of knowledge" to "conception of ability", cultivate their capacity is an important content and objectives for both our current junior high school geography curriculum standard in geographical knowledge, and geography capacity training requirements, or the development trend of culture from foreign secondary school geography curriculum standard ability, using the map capacity is the geography has the first dominant features different from all the other subject capacity. Therefore, the majority of scholars and teachers are concerned about the map capacity.In this paper, using literature analysis method, statistical analysis method to analyze the teaching materials, research method and case analysis method, on the "geographical seven " published in 2012 by the people’s education to classify the 280 pictures, analysis of the specific composition of the this map,these maps and the relationship between teaching materials,the role of these maps can train capacity and features of the map,the map on this basis according to ability to integrate theory with case analysis,discuss,capacity-building tactics of the map.This paper includes three chapters, chapter one introduces the background, contents and significance of the study, and the study methods.Chapter two is " geographical seven " in image map capability and features of the main map : First, "geographical seven " the map is divided in to the map, geographical landscape map,geographic schematic diagram,geography statistical charts, cartoon and comics, combination of Figure six categories 280; The map88, geographical landscape map 105,geographical sketch map 39, geo statistical map 25, cartoons and comics 11, combined 12 charts.Showing that " geographical seven " map-based the geographical landscape map and map. Second, "geographical seven " in image map capability and capacity of the main map for the ability wide distribution in various chapters of the textbook, it can be concluded from the reading ability, analysis capacity, drawing capacity and mapping capacity four aspects. The capacity to interpret the reading ability is the basis for map ability,analysis capacity is the key, the drawing and mapping capacity is an important part of the capacity. Four kinds of map capacity together constitute the content system of " geographical seven " map capacity.Third, according to the new textbook image Composition and characteristics of the map ability and psychology theory, the "geographical seven " corresponding capacity-building strategy map was analyzed, a summary of the "to questioning, stimulate the map learning the motivation,step by step, guide practice, map and chart combination, combining with the use of a variety of graphic, regional map interpretation " the four strategies.
