In order to adapt to the rapid development of information technology, and to cultivate the talents with innovative consciousness and practical professional skills,the secondary vocational school should continue to promote the teaching reform to break the traditional teaching pattern of restricting the development of students.Secondary vocational computer courses, with its highly practical characteristic, in the traditional teaching mode, are difficult to cultivate the students’innovative thinking ability and solid professional skills, so the teachers and students need to change the concept and carried out the advanced teaching mode and learning method.WebQuest is a learning mode of researching based on network resources. With the guidance of the WebQuest teaching website designed by the teachers, students carry out independent, inquiring, and cooperative study. Finally the students master the skills and solve the problems. Taking Zengcheng Dongfang Vocational School as an example, based on the theory of constructivism and cooperative learning theory, and taking the course "Flash Design and Making" as a teaching example, this article investigates the application of WebQuest in vocational computer teaching. This research has important practical significance in promoting the reform of vocational computer course teaching and improving the effect of vocational computer course teaching.Except the introduction and the concluding part, this paper has three chapters:Chapter one:WebQuest and its theoretical basis. Analysis of the connotation and types of WebQuest, expounds its theoretical basis.Chapter two:Problems before learning existed in computer teaching in the vocational school. In the current secondary vocational school computer teaching, the traditional teaching mode restricted students’development, students are not interested in learning,without good study habits,their learning ability is weak. In WebQuest, the students are the main body of teaching activity. The teacher is the organizer of teaching activities and learning mentor, they create situations and set up open learning tasks for learners, provide students with abundant learning resources under the network environment. This teaching mode can improve the students’ interest in learning, improve the students’ practical ability and innovative thinking, So WebQuest can solve the problems existing in the secondary vocational computer teaching.Chapter three:the application of WebQuest in secondary vocational school computer teaching.First discusses the teaching method choice of the WebQuest in vocational computer teaching. Through the study of the definition and characteristic of task driving teaching method and the project teaching method, the conclusion is that the short time WebQuest chooses task driving teaching method and the long time WebQuest chooses project teaching method. And then to take two class teaching of the course "flash design and production" as an example, which is "making frame by frame animation" and "making use of Flash Webpage in advertising", Ability and learning results analysis of three aspects of design, from the research learning scheme for WebQuest module design and implementation, students’learning, Respectively on short-term WebQuest task driving teaching method based on the design and implementation, and the effect and reflection of long-term WebQuest of the project teaching method is made based on the specific research, explains how the WebQuest application in computer teaching in secondary vocational schools.
