Biology is a science based on experiment, which occupies an important place in the teaching of experiments in biology. It can not only help students acquire knowledge, theory, but aslo foster students’ inquiring ability, creativity and scientific literacy via experiment. The biological curriculum standards will enhance and foster students scientific accomplishment and cultivation of high-quality innovative talents, as the ultimate goal, will be referred to the objective of the reform of experimental teaching, clear the experiment teaching for the important role of promoting the development of students ’ abilities.At present, there is less material in Suzhou research on junior high school biology experiment teaching and none of this type of research papers has been published. This paper is based on the addendum to the questionnaire as a research tool. It combines with consulting documents, interviews and other methods, and conducted the survey of Suzhou City junior high school biology experiment teaching situation. It aslo summarizes and analysizes the data from 7 aspects such as teachers ’ basic information, biology laboratory equipment, lab assistant is equipped with experimental open, school, teacher, student attitudes towards biology experimental teaching.The results showed that since the implementation of the new curriculum, city facilities, level of biological experiment teaching and methods has increased, and teachers ’ teaching concepts has been greatly changed. Meanwhile problem and insufficient has also been found out: firstly, "tests" system hinder normal development of biology experiment teaching; secondly, school of attention degree is not enough; thirdly, teachers of education concept, and professional level and ethics literacy is needed further improvement; forthly, laboratory instrument equipment, and experiment drug lack; fifthly, experiment member professional level and personnel equipment need improve; sixthly, part students of learning concept exists deviation.According to the survey results, and refering to the relevant theory, this paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions to enhance experiment teaching in junior high school biology in order to meet new curriculum standards of junior middle school biology experiment teaching in our city’s requirement and meet the need of cultivating innovative talents. Education authorities: the reform of the examination and evaluation system and enhance the importance of biological disciplines; strengthening routine supervision and unannounced inspections. School level: implementation of curriculum standards, ensure basic experimental open snap open limbs; optimize allocation of biology teachers, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, speeding up construction of experimental staff, standardize experimental staff’s appointment system. Teacher level: update concept, clearly understand the situation and improve experimental teaching enthusiasm. enhance business learning and improve professional standards and skills; strengthen teachers ’ moral cultivation and carry out duty of teachers. change focus in experimentation, encourage students to explore and cooperative learning; more comprehensively evaluating students. Student level:provide more sufficient experimental time and opportunities to students and engage students and give full play to the advantages of cooperative learning in order to accomplish students’ self-discipline and management. And training experiment of young pioneers.
