The Case Study About The Family Rearing Styles Of The Rural Stay-at-home Children

Family is the first place where people live in and it is also the first class that children get education. The family influence of on people is comprehensive and profound. The influence of parents’ ideas, behaviors and rearing style on children’s Physical and mental development, the character and values formation is imperceptible.As China’s economic development, a large number of farmers have crowded into cities, they left the children at home. A large number of children became stay-at-home children, which also produced many problems of children’s education. The most important issue is the children’s family rearing style, which is not only related to children’s healthy growth, but also related to the stability and harmonious development of society.I study mainly from the perspective of family rearing style in this paper and make a special study of Y’s family rearing style. I gathered the first-hand information through observation and interview, and then analyzed and interpreted Y’s family rearing styles.The first part is an introduction, it includes the reasons of selected topic, significance, research summary, the core concepts, research methods and the object of study. The first chapter introduces the basic situation of Y’s family, the type and characteristics of Y’s family rearing style. The second chapter analyzes the impacts of family rearing style on Y. I explore Y’s personality characteristics mainly from his parents, significant others around him, Y himself and " I ". The third chapter analyzed the factors of affecting Y’s family rearing styles mainly from Y’s family environment, parents’ attainments and Y’s views about his parents of the three aspects to. The fourth chapter is the research conclusions and introspections. The need for a sense of security, love and belonging is the most urgent needs for the stay-at-home children. The good family rearing styles are the main agent for the socialization of the stay-at-home children. Parents should give their children more care and companionship.
