As a head teacher of secondary vocational school, working in the front line of students management, plays a vital role in the school management. Their working motivation that has a great impact on school long-term sustainable development,does not only determine the effectiveness of their work, but also influence the formation and promotion of overall quality of school students directly. In recent years, as our country has pay great attention to the vocational education, the enrollment scale of secondary vocational school begins to expand, and also the team of head teachers of those schools starts to increase, but obviously the problems appear. Such as the quality of students will influence the work results, the recognition to a new head teacher, the attitude of sophisticated teachers to their work, the career development of young teachers, etc.And those problems just directly affect the working power of head teachers in secondary vocational schools.In order to understand the phenomenon of the shortage of working power of vocational school teachers, and analyze its reason, then find out the way to solve this problem. During the writing this article, interview, references and case analysis are used. Through the collection of relevant references on shortage of working power of secondary vocational school head teachers, and practical study of their present situation, and analysis of the reasons of their lack of motivation to their work, then come out the methods which are based on such three aspects: school, the department of students management and head teachers themselves.Through practical visit and study to head teachers of secondary vocational schools, just found the phenomenon of their lack of motivation to their work,then analyzed its reason. And the main problems were:1.their lack of the sense of achievement to their work; 2,their unclear understanding and to their work and low recognition from the society;3 lack of master consciousness of young teachers; 4the pressure in students’ security management;5 high pressure of work itself, etc. Based on the finding of this phenomenon and analysis of the reason, I think the school management plays the core role in stimulating the working motivation of head teachers, and it should help to set up a positive, friendly, harmonious environment and a good school supporting system, meanwhile leaders should be aware of the way of their management. And the department of students management should focus on stimulating teachers’ passion, arraning trainings and encouraging them to further study. And the head teacher themselves should establish reasonable self expectation and take their job as a career pursuit.
