A Service Oriented Intelligent Learning Community Study For Personalized Learning

ABSTRACT The personalized intelligent service-oriented Virtual Learning Community emerged as the Community is trying to design its UE to meet the needs of the learners such as their goal of learning and the content of learning and so on. Nowadays, more and more experts are exploring various technique to improve the Virtual Learning Community.Learners differs from learning style, state of the art, learning goal and interests when they study on line, as a result their choice will vary in learning order, resource type and other aspects. Thus providing the learners with personalized intelligent service-oriented service according to the learning style of different learner becomes a hard point to the research.The paper study on the service-oriented personalized Virtual Learning Community which can adapt to the learning style and state of art of learners, the system uses service-oriented architecture and it realize the learning style and learning habit of learners through testing the learners and analyzing the learners’ study record.The paper first clarify the learning style of learners according to the Felder-Silverman Learning Style Questionnaire and record the result of test. Then mining the records of learners’ learning activities to analyze and realize their learning interests and learning habit which contribute to learners’ study behavior sequence. At last according to the-learners’ characteristics the system will give the personalized study behavior sequence of learners to study lessons and to improve the study efficiency of learners.The testing result totally prove the adaptivity of the model. The system can provide relevant suggestion and reference based on the learning style, knowledge and preference through using the model.
