When the child was born, the first school is his family and the first teacher is his parents and grandparents. The family education, as the foundation of school education and social education plays an important role in early child. The harmony family atmosphere and good education method benefit development of his physical and psychological health. Meanwhile, the correct value orientation decides the choice to family education methods. According to the research, most of grandparents help parents together look after the children age from 0 to 6. However, the different education method and opinion between parents and grandparents has become one of the main difficulties in family education. The conflict between them is quite necessary to get rid of. This essay tries to find out the reasons based on the theory of value so as to set up healthy and harmony family environment. Therefore, this paper is divided to five parts to discuss.The first part is to come up with the questions according to studies on family education conflict in early child and the change of family members in cities, analyzing the types of family education, its problems and solutions. Then, this paper proposes research thought and significance after the definition about family education, value, the view of value and conflict.The second part is based on the studies about value and value conflict. According to the its reasons and revolutions, this study sets up value standard of family education which is suited for children’s physical and psychological developments.The third part portrays the family education stories of Juanjuan and lele and finds out the conflicts of family education mainly focus on the views on food, the recognition on habits cultivation and the views on early intelligence. The main value conflicts on family education includes one-dimension of value and multi-dimension of value, traditional value and modern value, different requirements between ancestors and parents, as well as ancestors’ empiricism and fathers’ dogmatism. Based on the value conflicts on this paper, it concludes four reasons which are diversity, complexity, sustainability and reconcilability in family education.In the fourth part, based on the theory of value conflicts, it analyzes the particularit y of preprimary children’s development, the social transformation, the living backgroun d of ancestors and fathers and the lack of communication between them to conclude the premise, background, root cause and immediate cause of value conflicts.In the fifth part, as to the causes of value conflicts, it mainly advocates the construc tion of dominating value, the scientific views on family education, the interaction of diff ernt subjects of value and different values, and puts forward the solving strategy of valu e conflicts to provide a harmonious family environment for the children’s body and men tal development during their baby times.
