The Academic Test for High School Students aims to accelerate the construction of the education quality monitoring system of high school, promote the new curriculum reform, and improve the quality of teaching. With the move of "Implementation Plan of the Comprehensive Reform on Higher School Admission in Shanghai", the Academic Test school become more and more important and academic grade level based on elementary courses will be incorporated into the college entrance examination scores. With the deepening and advancing of college entrance examination, the emphasis of academic test gradually shifts from knowledge to comprehensive ability.As one of the pilot base of education, Shanghai is leading in the curriculum reform. On the context of a new round of reforms, the author analyses the exam objectives and content, and cognitive ability and summarizes the characteristics of the new curriculum with the sample of Shanghai Life Sciences academic test in nearly four years (2011-2014).It is studied by establishing a table of specifications with educational measurement theory, educational evaluation theory, and the theory of multiple intelligences theory, etc. At the meanwhile, this study can provide review suggestion for the upcoming academic test.According to the study results, the author analyzes the requirements of academic test for the candidates and draws the following conclusions:back to basics and highlighting the main points; based on the detection and innovation; focusing on situations and multiple presentations; relating to practice and learning to meet practical needs. With the analysis and discussion of the future proportional direction of academic test, some strategies are given to biology teachers in their daily teaching: 1.focusing on teaching materials, and be back to basics; 2.seizing the backbone of knowledge; 3.emphasizing the relation of theory and practice;4.paying attention to students’ comprehensive ability, innovation ability, and expressive ability, enabling students develop in an all-around way.
