Research On Project Management Of Network Teaching System Construction Of Southwest Jiaotong University

Network education is the modern performance of distance education,through the network communication technology, multimedia technology, computer technology as a new kind of education way of media.Network education is a kind of education that coulbe be prcessed at the same time in different places or in different time and different place, it is a major means of human life-long education.Distance learning and continuing education college of Southwest Jiaotong University started the carrier of network education since the year 2000.After years’efforts,our college has trained and cultivated muti-level applied talents for nearly two hundred thousand.With the development of modern distance education, in order to adapt to the pace of the modern distance education and the education idea,our college also developed and upgraded the comprehensive information management system gradually.This article aims to explore the development of teaching system, upgrades the ideas and methods of construction since the establishment of our college.The article uses project management theory and application to the construction of network teaching system,aims at the problems arising from teaching and management in network education,as well as the survey and analysis on students,teachers and administrators,and offers the project design for teaching system in integrated information management system of distance learning and continuing education college. Due to the present author working in Southwest Jiao Tong University distance and continuing education college teaching department, in this project mainly carried on the work of project planning, theoretical research, focusing on the completion of project scope management, schedule management, communication management, so this paper will focus on communication management from the project scope management, project schedule management, project in detail.This paper firstly describes the background and significance in network education teaching system project of Southwest Jiaotong University,and makes the comparison and analysis between domestic and abroad research in management currently,puts forward research methods and ideas of the project content. Secondly, it pays attention to the project scope management, project progress management and project communication management to illustrate the design process in the project. By combining the entire workflow of the project, the use of project management theory, WBS charts, network diagrams, communication methods and tools to determine the scientific method of project decision-making and program design. Teaching each link in this project at the same time also has carried on the full study, put forward effective measures on the problems in the project and solution, finally to ensure that the project on time and smoothly.The achievement of this project has been put into daily use in good condition,and also obtained a favorable reception from the users.Besides,it has the features of operability and practicability,not only emphaizes on data statistical functions,but also improves the working and learning efficiency.With the development of modern distance education, the project is going to be updated and improved in the process of implementation.
