Applications To Project Management Curriculum Construction In Network Education System

Modern distance education is a new type t of education mode ,it develops with digital technique,network communication technique,Computer Multimedia Technique ,it is a method to build lifelong learning mechanism and learning society in the information and economy era.As one of colleges to undertake network education ,The school of network education of BUPT have made a few achievements through many years of exploring and studying. In order to meet the diversity and personality requirements of the students, we are updating progressively the instructional system to 2.0 from 1.0.This project is conducted to explore new method of instructional design and curriculum construction based on the system 2.0.In the paper, we introduce project management into curriculum construction in network education, proposed different formulas to different courses, through the investigation to primal instructional design system and researching the needs of students , under the guidance of Constructivism Learning Theory.The paper consists of six chapters, which focuses on studying the project scope,project progress,project communicate. It exerts the tool of WBS(Work Breakdown Structure ) to explore this project scope, The content in the WBS is the task that the project have to fulfill, and that the work outside the WBS is not included in the project ; it exerts the method of progress management such as network diagram,Gantt chart, to ensure completing task on time; it exerts the method of project communicate to coordinate relationship among Project Stakeholders, to be beneficial to internal communication and external communication in the project. For the purpose of testing the project outcomes, it will be used in practice in the courses ,and have application in the system of 2.0 in the school of network education of BUPT. Based on the principle of, practicability and operability, the effects of important process of teaching will be put emphasis on , it consist of designing instructional resource,designing instructional exercise,designing instructional evaluation and designing instructional support. With the practicing in education, the program of project will be improving and perfecting.
