Regional culture has abundant education value. Regional characteristics of geography can achieve the education value. We constructs the geography school-based curriculum through analysing the characteristics of Enshi culture and concluding the education value of it. This paper did a detail research on the situation of the school-based curriculum and regional culture, then analysed the significance of the development of school-based curriculum. Takeing 《Enshi Zhouqing》 as the research text, we summarized the current situation and problems of Enshi geography school-based curriculum. Then propose to construct geography school-based curriculum based on regional culture.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first is the introduction, asking two questions to reflect the education value and its approaches of the regional culture, The related concepts of school-based curriculum and regional culture has been defined, the main research as well as the research situation has been sorted, confirmed the research foundation for the next study. The second chapter is the condition analysis about geography school-based curriculum develop based on the regional culture. Dissecting the characteristics of Enshi regional culture and the difference of it; We expound education value of the regional culture of Enshi from the perspective of human development and at last we discuss the significance of Enshi regional culture by school-basing. The third chapter is to diagnose the problem of development of school-based curriculum in Enshi, combine the field research and the research results to summarize the current situation of the development of Enshi school-based curriculum; take 《Enshi Zhouqing》 as an example, analysing the situation and problems of Enshi geography school-based curriculum development through the setting of curriculum goals,the selection of curriculum content and the implementation of curriculum. The fourth chapter is the construction of Enshi geography school-based curriculum. We discuss the above problems through the setting of curriculum goals,the selection of curriculum content and the implementation of curriculum.The setting of the curriculum goals follow the curriculum standard idea of China, formed three-dimensional goals. Takeing Enshi regional culture as the main content of the curriculum, we discuss the problem from the next four aspects:national architecture, folk customs, folk beliefs and folk art. By changing the teaching methods and strengthen the dominant position of the students to strengthen the implementation of the curriculum.This paper focus on the distinctive region Enshi to explore the construction of curriculum, in terms of the forming of geographic thinking and literacy, in favor of the shaded educational value to be exposed, its contribute to recognize the geographical knowledge inclusion in our daily life, develop the scientific thinking, we think it has geography characteristics.
