The life-oriented moral education is the tendency of the reform of China’s junior middle school moral education in recent years, the presentation of this concept is based on the reflection of the situation that our moral education is divorced from life. As one of the most important part of the school education, moral education undertakes the important task to cultivate the moral quality of educates, and junior high school moral education is not only related to the shaping of students’ personality, and even affect the country’s future development. But nowadays the emphasis that moral education received in reality does not match the important position that it is in the education system, and the cause of this situation is due to some schools attach great importance to the knowledge moral education, and don’t realize that the moral education can only get out of the trouble by the way that go back to life. There are inseparable relationship between moral education and life, they constraints and promote with each other. If moral education is separated with life, and only with cold moral knowledge left, students won’t get the experience of moral emotion, also can’t conduct moral practice in their real lives. In this situation not only the effectiveness of moral education can be influenced, but also the students’ daily life will be affected. Therefore, the study of life-oriented moral education has great significance to improve the effectiveness of the current school moral education.This paper uses literature survey and questionnaire survey, take some junior high schools of Jinzhou as examples, begin with the background and significance of the study, overseas and domestic research status, related concepts and research methods, uses Aristotle, Rousseau, Dewey and Tao Xingzhi’s education concept as the starting point to discuss the theoretical basis of life-oriented moral education, this paper also combines with relevant materials to expound the recent situation of junior high schools’ moral education work in Jinzhou. Based on the data from investigation, this paper discovered that there are problems such as the junior high schools’ moral education of Jinzhou neglect the individual value, the lack of social life practice, the irrationality of teaching methods, the evaluation system is imperfect and so on, presents that the reasons of these problems are due to the utilitarianism of school education, the defect of moral education mechanism, the teachers are lack of consciousness of life-oriented moral education and the absence of the family and social education. The author directs at the current dilemma of junior high schools’ moral education work in Jinzhou, proposal some strategies of moral education, set up ideas of life-oriented moral education, the goal of moral education must conform to the student’s real life, the moral education content must be based on the student’s real life, the methods of moral education must be close to the student’s real life, the evaluation of morality education must be point to the students’ real life, and the moral education field must cover the students’ real life.
