The Biology teaching of junior high school aims to improve the students’ biological science literacy, it is the further extension of the Science course in primary school. However,most of the junior high school and primary school in our country are managed separately in every aspect at present. And there is almost no communication between the teachers in the junior high school and primary school, as a result, Junior middle school teacher don’t know what the students have learned on biology, all these situations giving rise to the problem that the education linkage between Biology teaching of junior high school and Science course in primary school is poorly concerned. The way of learners receiving education is a continuous process, the connection of biology teaching and science education between junior high school and primary school helps to efficiently achieve the education objectives, has a great important significance to the development of teachers and students.I used the methods of literature research, investigation research in this study, to research the following several aspects of cohesion of junior high school biology teaching and the elementary school science:Firstly, the connection of junior high school biology teaching and the elementary school science research overview. In this part,I studied the domestic and abroad literature and related books, defined the education related concepts such as cohesion, and expounds the theoretical basis related to this study, and the present situation of this research.Secondly, the investigation and analysis of the connection between junior high school biology teaching and the elementary school science of the status quo. This part of the research is based on the study of the curriculum standard and textbooks of primary and secondary schools, compiled the “connection status of junior high school biology teaching and the elementary school science(including questionnaires for teachers and students) questionnaire”. Through statistical analysis, it is found that the current situation about the connection status of junior high school biology teaching and the elementary school science course is not optimistic, junior middle school biology teachers have problems in curriculum goal setting, teaching material processing and the choice of teaching methods, etc.Thirdly, the contrastive analysis and connection study of the junior high school biology and the elementary school science course. I analyzed the connection of the curriculum standards and textbooks between junior middle school Biology and primary school Science, further studied in the curriculum goal, curriculum content, textbooks content of cohesion specifically, found that there exist joining discontinuity, repetitive, complementary and progressive relation in many ways,proposed the main points and inspiration of the teaching connection.Finally, combining with the results of the survey and the cohesion study of the curriculum standards and textbooks, I put forward the strategies to enhance the connection between biological teaching of junior middle school and elementary school Science as follows:(1) Strengthen the consciousness of teaching transition of teachers.(2) Optimize the biology teaching of junior high school, make the transition smoothly.(3) Focus on the students’ variation on learning, strengthen the guidance of students learning methods.This study provides targeted connection theory and operability strategies for teachers, provides certain references to improve the effectiveness of the junior high school biology teaching.
