Recently, College Entrance Examination has been the main focus of students, parents and the society. Thus the test anxiety was extremely normal among senior high school students who struggled in review stage and shouldered the pressure from the exam and hopes from their parents and teachers and their own dreams. There were many reasons that can cause their text anxiety. This article would give a research on the text anxiety based on father’s rearing style and students’ achievement.The level of test anxiety among senior high school students was generally a little higher than the medium, including 83.3% students’ level higher than the medium. About the achievement motivation, the level of senior high school students is commonly high. And the scores of emotional warmth and understanding in father’s rearing style are higher than those of other dimensionalities, which could show that fathers have payed much more attention to their children.Based on the object of study, namely 436 senior high school students from three high schools in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, this article which adopted the Egna Minnen Barndoms Uppfostran(EMBU), Achievement Motivation Scale(AMS)(written by Yu Anbang and Yang Guoshu) and Text Anxiety Inventory gave a survey and analysis about the relationship and intermediary role among father’s rearing style, achievement motivation and text anxiety, thus giving the following conclusions:1.The level of test anxiety among senior high school students was generally a little higher than the medium, including 83.3% students’ level higher than the medium. About the achievement motivation, the level of senior high school students is commonly high. And the scores of emotional warmth and understanding in father’s rearing style are higher than those of other dimensionalities, which could show that fathers have payed much more attention to their children.2.About the father’s rearing style of senior high school, there are significant differences on stu dents’ genders, schools types, fathers’ jobs and whether they have siblings. 3.About the achievement motivation, there are noticeable differences on students’ genders, school t ypes, and fathers’ jobs.4.About the text anxiety of senior high school students, there are distinct differences on fathers’ jobs and whether they have siblings.5.In father’s rearing style, emotional warmth and understanding were positively associated wit h personal achievement motivation, while fathers’ too much interference and refusal demonstrated a negative correlation with personal achievement motivation. Father’s too much protection had a pos itive correlation with the social orientation of achievement motivation.6.The emotional warmth and understanding in father’s rearing style were negatively associated with students’ test anxiety, while the harsh punishment, too much interference and protection had a negative correlation with students’ test anxiety.7. Personal achievement motivation of senior high school students were positively associated with test anxiety, the social achievement motivation was positively associated with test anxiety.8.Emotional warmth, too much interference and refusal in parent’s rearing style could have an effect on students’ test anxiety through the full meditational role of personal achievement motivatio n and punishment through partial meditational role of personal achievement motivation, while too much protection could have an effect on test anxiety through partial meditational role of social orie ntation of achievement motivation. |
