| Health issue is a haunting one of the most common topics. The health problems of individuals and groups such as food security, psychological health, physical health and life safety, environmental protection have been reflected in every aspect of our life. Only have we known what is the health, can we have a healthy consciousness, healthy habits, and health behaviors. The healthy growth of the teenagers deserves enough attention from the state and society, so the health education of adolescents is an important field of school education. This paper use Taiwan school health education as the object of study for its curriculum is more mature and experienced, and its education system is similar. I hope to provide some reference for the Mainland China to carry through the research of Taiwan middle school health education curriculum——Healthy and Physical Education.In this article, we study the background of school health education and the situation of Healthy and Physical Education Curriculum in Taiwan by the literature research method. Then we systematically analyze the content and structure of the third part learning phase (i.e., junior high school) of the Grade 1-9 curriculum guidelines in the field of Healthy and Physical Education Curriculum, and analyze the content, structure and quality of the textbook Health and Sports. Finally, we compare The consistency of the curriculum guidelines and textbooks.The results show that:The contents of textbook is extensive, it reflects the basis for modern life. The textbook accomplishes the form diversification, and it takes the student as the main body, pays much attention to the development of basic ability and the cultivation of emotional attitudes and values. There is a good consistency between the curriculum guidelines and textbooks. This fully manifests the guidance of curriculum guidelines for the compile of the textbooks. Based on these, we suggest that we need to build a comprehensive health education system between the health education and the physical education. The textbooks should be interesting to read, pay attention to the all-round development of knowledge and technique, process and method, emotional attitude and value orientation. The curriculum guidelines need to be detailing, its guidance for the compile of the textbooks should be reinforced. |
