College entrance exam, as one of the most influential examination in China, Its change will inevitably cause concern from those who teach, but also inevitably affect the changes in teaching method and teaching philosophy. In 2012, Hebei Province, the first time the New Curriculum entrance geography papers, questions undergone significant changes, and gradually avoid simple knowledge test, focusing on problem-solving ability test; less in the past ivory-towered difficult and tricky questions, much closer to life. And it also innovatively asks the question of multi-angle analysis, and adds value to explore answers to questions. Changing of those are closely around the basic concept of the New Curriculum, focusing on the overall quality of training and lifelong development of students.Under the new curriculum standards, the construction of multi-dimensional teaching objectives means that students need for a comprehensive development of the mind, and cultivation of thinking quality should be one of the important contents of students’ growth needs. Thinking quality emphasizes a series of thinking activities which show the students’ ability to cognize, analyze and solve problems, which have potential for sustainable development of the students and huge impact. New Curriculum in geographic College Entrance Examination tests students intentionally for thinking quality, aims to detect the thinking ability of students to solve problems, while guiding geography teaching. Therefore, in the daily geography teaching, teachers should take a scientific, rational and effective teaching strategies to cultivate students’ thinking quality.This paper will be in the perspective of New Curriculum in geographic College Entrance Examination, researching teaching strategy to cultivate students’ thinking quality under the influence of the exam, including the following sections:Part one is the introduction of the research background, significance, research status and research methods.Part II: New Curriculum for College Entrance Examination volume and quality of thinking concepts were defined and discusses the theoretical basis of thinking quality research.Part three has a comprehensive analysis on the New Curriculum in geographic College Entrance Examination in Hebei Province during 2012 to 2014, including paper structure, distribution and test center change, and the characteristics of three aspects of the topic.Part four focus on how to test students’ thinking quality from the appearance and hidden of New Curriculum in geographic College Entrance Examination.Part V: For the above research, the quality of thinking from the perspective of the proposed construction of a deep knowledge of the framework, combing the knowledge structure, strengthen the map position in teaching, classroom teaching through case; raised from the perspective of agility to guide students in knowledge transfer, to carry out targeted limited training; from the perspective of flexibility proposed evaluation methods focus on teaching diverse and rich geography curriculum resources; make use of constructivist teaching conducted from the perspective of originality, attention to geography way you ask the question; proposed by geography from the critical perspective of experimental verification the students’ thinking quality of teaching strategies geographic principle, after-school students reflect on their daily habits, such as geography teaching.Part six summarizes the basic conclusions of the research contents of this article, and proposed the shortcomings of research outlook and prospects.
